Last November 17, 20007, 16 brave men from Lantaka assembled in PowerUp Gym to experience firsthand the extreme sport of wall climbing.

Get-together with Jess Abrera

Last November 10, 2007 Lantaka had the privilege of having an informal get-together with Mr.Jess Abrera, an editorial and comic cartoonist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Mr. Abrera, aside from being a multi award-winning illustrator- claiming several awards for his comics, including a couple of Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), is also a painter, book illustrator, photographer and cyclist.

The war that was

So the United Airsoft Alliance (UAA) celebrated their 2nd anniversary last October 20, 2007. They are the largest international Airsoft team with over 100 teams. We at Lantaka were invited to play, for they are interested in introducing Airsoft to the next generation.

My Lantaka Summer Experience ‘07

Lantaka Summer Camp 2007

This summer experience was my third time in a row to attend the Lantaka Summer Camps. This year, it was held at Pililla, Rizal. We stayed in yet another farm like last year. The farm is named Fuentes Farm, owned by Uncle Ferdi Fuentes.

A pause before the hike to Mt. Bulagao. It was on April 18 – 22, 2006. There were 39 campers who joined, all elementary school students, along with 12 facilitators who are in their secondary level of education. It was five days of adventure, fun and formation.
